Champagne and Blues Styled Shoot

Getting back out there to shoot has been so nice and when Terrie organized the Champagne and Blues styled shoot for all of us creatives to participate in I jumped at the chance to get back out there. She’s amazing at what she does and I love her to pieces. If you are ever in search of a styled shoot to participate look up Terrie. You won’t be disappointed.

Day of Shoot

As always these great venues are never near me so off I went on my almost two hour drive to Winter Haven where The Barn at Azalea Oaks is located. And Oh My Lanta was I happy that I did. The grounds are to die for. Not only is the barn gorgeous inside and out, but there’s also a lake. HELLO!!!! Can you imagine taking sunset photos of your wedding with the lake as your backdrop.

The owners of the barn wowed us all. Models and photographers were treated to breakfast and lunch by the owners of the venue and we couldn’t have been any more appreciative.

SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT

Not only did we get to photograph some amazingly beautiful models, but we got to take part in a surprise proposal. It’s always such a joy to see the happiness and love when your man drops to one knee and asks you to be his bride. I can’t even begin to tell you how shook we all were when it happened. Terrie kept us all in the dark so the surprise was real!

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. It was beautifully styled, the Florida weather cooperated until the very end and then the skies opened up as they normally do this time of year. We got lucky and I’m so very thankful for the experience and the memories that were made.
