Project Beauty | SLP Senior Spokesmodel Team

Project Beauty was created in 2017 by a fellow photographer, Thomas Nguyen, with the goal to redefine what true beauty is. The idea was to create portraits that were 100% authentic — no make-up, no retouching — Just you and the lens. Project Beauty has since turned into a movement to empower teen girls with their own authentic image, and their feedback has been incredibly powerful!

So much pressure is constantly in our faces about beauty and instagram, filters, and the media only add to our teen girls feeling like they need to be perfect. I’m here to tell you that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. I firmly believe in and stand behind this movement to create authentic and beautiful portraits. I am so incredibly proud of my team for taking this initiative seriously. For being empowered to be confident in their own skin.

Confident and Beautiful

Sierra describes herself as Caring and I couldn’t agree more. She believes that beauty is being confident.

Taylor describes herself as ambitious and I’m here to watch her excel. She believes that beauty is not what’s ont he outside but what is on the inside. Beauty goes beyond what one just looks like on the outside.

Jamie describes herself as strong and I’m super proud of her. She believes beauty is something is internal not just what’s on the outside. To be beautiful inside and out. Not just looking pretty.

Kilye describes herself as bubbly. Can’t argue with that. Her definition of beauty is to be kind and to have a good personality which shows your true colors.

Olivia describes herself as outgoing. Those dimples are always on point. Her definition of beauty is not just what is on the outside. It’s what’s on the inside. Your personality shows the real you.

Lily describes herself as kind and that she is. She believes that beauty is to be your authentic self. Inside and out.

Mackenzie describes herself as caring and I couldn’t agree more. She defines beauty as not what’s just on the outside but whats on the inside. How you act towards others and yourself.
