Seashells & Sequins: A Dreamy Coastal Senior Portrait Experience

For one of our latest senior rep team shoots, we wanted to create something that felt completely different from a traditional senior photo session. Instead of simply putting everyone in front of a pretty backdrop and taking pictures, we created a styled experience where the girls could have fun, experiment with their style, and create images that felt editorial, colorful, and completely their own.

And this shoot did not disappoint.

A Senior Rep Team Shoot With a Coastal Twist

Being a senior rep isn’t just about having your picture taken.

It’s about being part of a team, making memories with other girls, trying new things, and getting to experience the creative side of senior photography.

For our Seashells & Sequins shoot, we took inspiration from everything we love about being near the Florida coast.

Think shimmering sequins, seashells, beachy details, feminine fashion, and plenty of personality.

The result was a collection of senior portraits that felt playful and polished at the same time.

One of my favorite parts of being a Tampa Bay senior photographer is creating sessions that are as unique as the girls I’m photographing.

Your senior pictures don’t have to look like everyone else’s.

When I photograph my senior reps, I want them to walk away with more than beautiful photographs.

There is something special about getting a group of girls together, putting on music, trying different poses, laughing between shots, and watching everyone’s personalities come out.

Those little moments are part of the experience.

Years from now, they may not remember every pose we did.

But they’ll remember the day they spent together.

They’ll remember the outfits.

They’ll remember the laughs.

And hopefully, they’ll look back at these photographs and remember exactly how exciting senior year felt.
